Dr. Caroline Meyer

Naturopathic Doctor

How can naturopathic medicine help you and your child deal with ADHD/ADD? First off, naturopaths spend time to understand your unique challenges, before devising a treatment approach that is customized to you. I combine leading edge research in nutrition, vitamins & minerals, amino acids, herbs, and lifestyle medicine (think  sleep and mindfulness) in creating this plan. You and your child are unique and this demands an individualized approach. Naturopaths are also trained in pharmacology and know how to combine natural medicine with pharmaceutical treatments. You do not need to make an either/or choice if you choose to work with a naturopath. For the past 2 decades, Caroline, aka ‘Dr C’, has been working with children, teens and their diverse families to address and optimize their health concerns. She has a particular interest in treating ADHD/ADD, anxiety, depression and sleep problems in children, teens and adults. Caroline graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in 2005 where she is currently a part-time academic and clinical faculty member. For more than a decade, she was a supervisor on the pediatrics-focused shift, working with thousands of kids and caregivers. Caroline speaks and writes extensively about topics related to pediatrics and mental health.
